The Tivoli Green Park Master Plan will guide the development of a new neighbourhood park within the growing Tivoli Green residential precinct in Old Beach. As the area continues to expand, the park is intended to become a vibrant, multi-functional space that provides a balance of active and passive recreation opportunities for residents of all ages.
✅ Build a Great Community Park
The Master Plan will help shape a welcoming and useful park that suits both active fun and quiet relaxation for people living in Tivoli Green.
✅ Include Nature Play and Activities for Everyone
The park will have natural play areas and features that meet the needs of local families and people of all ages and abilities.
✅ Design the Park Clearly and Thoughtfully
The plan will show where things like play equipment, lighting, fences, and parking will go, so everything works well together.
✅ Make it Easy to Find and Enjoy
Clear signs and design features will connect the park with nearby areas and give it a strong local identity.
✅ Fit with the Bigger Tivoli Green Plan
The park will support the long-term goals for Tivoli Green and make sure the space works well into the future.
✅ Listen to What the Community Wants
We’ll ask locals for their ideas, so the park reflects what people want and need.
✅ Help Attract Funding and Support
The plan will follow important design guidelines, helping us secure funding and deliver the park successfully.
🌳 Tivoli Green Master Plan – Community Engagement Update
PlayStreet has recently been engaged by Brighton Council as the principal consultant to prepare an updated master plan for Tivoli Green Park. A key focus of this exciting project is community co-design—working closely with local residents, families, and children to ensure the park truly reflects local values, needs, and aspirations.
🗣️ What’s Happened So Far?
Our first round of community engagement, including a survey and initial session, took place in May 2025. A big thank you to everyone who participated and shared their ideas!
📍 Where We’re At Now
The draft master plan for Tivoli Green Park has taken longer than initially anticipated due to the need for additional refinement and coordination. We now expect it to be available for public review as early as October. We appreciate the community’s patience and look forward to sharing the plan soon.
📌 What’s Next?
Your input on the proposed plans will be considered for final refinements before the master plan is presented to Council for adoption.
