Sustainable Staff Travel Survey
Project Description
Brighton Council is committed to fostering a more sustainable and environmentally responsible workplace. As part of this commitment, the Sustainable Staff Travel Survey aims to gain a comprehensive understanding of current staff travel behaviours, preferences, and barriers to adopting sustainable transport options.
This project will collect data on how staff currently commute to work, including modes of transport, travel distances, frequency, and reasons for choosing specific methods. It will also explore staff awareness and attitudes toward sustainable travel options such as walking, cycling, carpooling, public transport, and electric vehicles.
The insights gathered will inform the development of targeted initiatives to encourage more sustainable commuting practices.
