Safer, more connected walking and cycling routes start with your input
Brighton Council is developing the Active Transport Strategy 2025–2035 to make walking and cycling safer, easier, and better connected. The draft strategy includes proposed footpaths, crossings, and cycling links—connecting homes, schools, shops, and open spaces.
It also outlines supporting strategies, policies, and upgrade priorities to guide future investment.
The consultation period for this project has now closed.
Council Officers will review the feedback received and make any required changes to the Strategy.
A report will be prepared for Council outlining submissions received and whether they warranted changes to the Strategy.
